I am French by origin, global by practice. I have spent years immersed in the worlds of hospitality and tourism, first through travelling solo around South East Asia, then through formal education, and through the particular lens of understanding what makes guests book, return, and recommend.
My approach to email marketing is informed by this background. When I look at a hotel's email programme, I do not see open rates and click-throughs in isolation. I see the guest journey. The moment of anticipation before arrival. The memory that lingers after departure. The quiet months between visits when the relationship either strengthens or fades.
This perspective changes everything about how I build email strategies. It is not about sending more messages. It is about sending the right message, at the right moment, with the right understanding of what hospitality truly means.
