Working Together

I specialise exclusively in hospitality, tourism, and events. This includes boutique hotels, luxury resorts, bed and breakfasts, tour operators, destination management companies, travel agencies, event venues, conference organisers, and festival producers.

This focused approach means I understand your specific challenges: OTA dependency, seasonal fluctuations, the guest journey, and what makes someone book direct rather than through a third party.

Agencies often provide execution without deep strategic thinking, or they spread their expertise across dozens of industries. They may have a hospitality client one day and a software company the next.

I focus exclusively on hospitality, tourism, and events. This means I bring specialised knowledge of your industry's unique challenges, seasonal patterns, and guest psychology. You are not paying for me to learn your industry. I already live in it.

Yes. While I am based in Brisbane, I work with clients across Australia, Europe, and North America. All consultations happen virtually, which works seamlessly across time zones.

I am also fluent in French and German, which is particularly valuable for European hospitality markets and international properties.

Every engagement begins with a discovery conversation where I learn about your property, current email efforts, and goals. From there, we determine the best way to work together.

I offer three tiers of engagement:

  • Implementation Complete email marketing system build including platform setup, templates, automations, and team training
  • Strategic Retainer Ongoing partnership for continuous improvement with monthly strategy calls and campaign optimisation

Investment varies based on scope and engagement type:

  • Audit and Strategy Blueprint $997 to $1,997
  • Implementation $3,500 to $7,500
  • Strategic Retainer $1,500 to $4,000 per month

The discovery conversation is complimentary and helps us determine the right fit before any commitment.

It depends on the engagement. The Audit and Strategy Blueprint provides the roadmap and frameworks. Implementation includes complete email copy, templates, and automation sequences ready to deploy.

We determine what works best during our initial conversation based on your internal resources and preferences.

I am platform-agnostic and can work with whatever system you are using or recommend one suited to your needs.

Common platforms in hospitality include Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, and industry-specific tools that integrate with your Property Management System or booking engine.

Results and Expectations

While every property is different, clients typically see improvements in direct booking rates, reduced OTA commission costs, higher guest lifetime value, and stronger repeat visitation.

I focus on building systems that compound over time rather than quick fixes. Email marketing done well becomes an asset that continues generating returns month after month.

Some improvements happen quickly: better open rates, higher engagement, more replies. These can show within the first few campaigns.

Revenue impact typically builds over two to three months as automations take effect, list quality improves, and guests move through the customer journey. The most significant results come from consistent execution over six to twelve months.

Email will not replace OTAs entirely, and it should not. OTAs provide valuable discovery and reach new audiences you would not otherwise access.

But once someone has stayed with you or shown interest, email becomes your most powerful tool. It lets you build a direct relationship without paying 15 to 25 percent commission. The goal is reducing OTA dependency, not eliminating it.

You are not alone. This is incredibly common. Many hospitality businesses collect guest emails through bookings but rarely communicate with them strategically.

A dormant list is actually an opportunity. We can re-engage those contacts thoughtfully, segment based on past behaviour, and start building genuine relationships. It is never too late to start.

Getting Started

For our discovery conversation, just come ready to talk about your property, current challenges, and goals. No preparation required.

If we move forward together, I provide a clear onboarding process including any information or access needed. This typically includes your email platform, past campaign data, and an understanding of your guest segments.

I design engagements to respect your time. You will be most involved during discovery and review phases, providing context about your property and approving strategies.

Beyond that, your involvement depends on whether you are implementing yourself or have a team. I provide everything needed for execution, whether that is detailed guidance or materials your team can use directly.

That is a valid question, and sometimes the honest answer is not yet. If you do not have a way to capture emails, have very low traffic, or have more pressing operational issues, we should address those first.

The discovery conversation helps us both determine if now is the right time. I would rather tell you honestly that you are not ready than take on work that will not serve you.
